1 Rates & Pricing
Our hotel rates are the best publicly available, and we negotiate directly with hotels to offer exclusive discounts found only here. We typically offer AAA, CAA and AARP or senior discounts. If those rates aren't displayed, it's usually because our other rates are already better than those discount programs.
According to newly enacted US regulations, the total cost of your stay is shown at the time of your search, including any hotel resort fees and booking service fees. This amount includes all charges for the hotel's stay, exclusive of taxes, which are shown during checkout.
Transparency first. No hidden fees. What you see at search is what you pay — the way it should be.
All our rates are points eligible by default, however this can vary by brand and location. Some hotels even offer double points — and that's indicated in our booking system. Each hotel company dictates which rates generate points in their program. Most of the rates we offer do allow you to accrue points. Just verify at check-in with the front desk and make sure your rewards number is connected to your reservation record.
Unlike most OTAs, we book through the hotel's own system — so your loyalty points aren't left on the table.
2 Booking
If you need between 2–9 rooms, you can book instantly on our platform. Each room must be done separately. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact live chat on the booking page.
Please indicate your need for connecting rooms in the "requests" field. Many hotels offer connecting rooms and will usually accommodate that request at check-in. Connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking — there may be guests that overstay or other factors. Be sure to remind the front desk at check-in.
Pro tip: Mention it twice — once in the request field, once at the front desk. Hotels handle connecting rooms as a day-of logistics decision.
Yes. Unless you'll be arriving with the other guests and have the card present, most hotels require you to complete a credit card authorization form in advance. You can specify how they should process the payment for all or part of your guests' stays — room & tax only, or all charges (including incidentals such as room service, parking, etc.). If you're not covering all charges, your guests will still need to present a credit or debit card at check-in. Once you book with us, please contact your hotel directly to make these payment arrangements.
3 Payment & Billing
If there is a booking service fee, it's charged when you complete the booking — this is the only charge Stayker (or our processing partner) will make to your card. Your card is securely forwarded to the hotel to guarantee your reservation. That typically means nothing additional is charged until you arrive at the hotel, where they will swipe your card (contactless check-in is offered in many hotel apps).
Exceptions: Some hotels will authorize the card before check-in, particularly during high-demand events. If you book a full or partial prepay rate (shown at the time of booking), the hotel may charge the card on file per the terms specified.
4 Changes & Cancellations
Your email confirmation includes a link that lets you cancel instantly. You can also contact your hotel at any time to make changes or cancel — just give them the confirmation number from your original email.
Important: The "booking code" in the email is for reference with us only — it isn't used by your hotel. Always use the confirmation number when contacting your hotel directly.
5 Security & Privacy
Absolutely. We do not store or charge your credit card in our system — it is passed securely to your hotel to guarantee your reservation. Once the booking is complete, we can identify only the last four digits of your card in order to properly answer questions related to your booking.
We do not sell your personal data — ever. Your information is used solely to complete and service your reservation.
